There’s that classic dark romance vibe with a possessive, powerful male lead and a heroine trying to navigate this wild, high‑stakes life she never expected. What I loved most was how addictive the pacing could be—the chemistry was steamy, the tension was high, and I genuinely wanted to see what would happen next. There were moments where I really cared about the characters and their evolving relationship, and some twists genuinely surprised me. However, it wasn’t a perfect five stars for me. At times, the intensity and focus on control and danger felt a bit over the top, and I wanted a bit more emotional depth beyond the surface drama.
