Rezension von Joana🫧 #RuthlessCreatures was a fast-paced, spicy, and kinda addictive read - but not without its flaws🤓 First things first : the writing style🖋️ The writing flows naturally, which made this a quick and bingeable read. I also loved the alternating POVs - the dual chapters really helped keep the tension high and the pacing sharp🖇️ The spice delivered🌶️ It was intense, confident, and exactly what you’d expect from a dark mafia romance. Now, the characters👥 Nat was kinda okay… nothing more, nothing less😬 Kage definitely has that dark, mysterious, morally-grey presence that draws you in😈 I liked the aura around him - the secrecy, the danger, the power - even though I didn’t fully connect with him emotionally. I actually wish we’d gotten more of his POV, because I think that would’ve added much-needed depth to both his character and his motivations🤐 Also, can we talk about Sloane for a second, pleeeease? Absolute queen energy👑 She completely stole the show for me. Her friendship with Nat felt genuine and refreshing, and honestly, their dynamic added more emotional substance than the romance at times👀 This said, there were still a few parts that didn’t fully work for me😵💫 The romance leaned a bit too heavily into insta-love. The connection between Nat and Kage developed very quickly, and I felt like the relationship lacked a solid emotional foundation for most of the book👎🏼 It felt surface-level until the final 80 pages, when things finally deepened… I wished that growth had been built up earlier. I needed more vulnerability, more honesty, and more emotional layering to fully believe in their love story🫠 Overall it’s an entertaining, spicy, and easy to binge read with strong mafia vibes and compelling side characters. While it lacked some emotional depth for me, it still delivers on tension, chemistry, and drama😋 . . . . Rating : 3,75⭐️ Spice : 4,5🌶️ Recommendation : ✅
Rezension von Liyah📚ohhh i like this. Especially the dialogue I died! The plot was great and the pacing as well. Kage and Natalie, I love it. Would’ve liked to see more of them around the end and also more interactions with different characters but other than that it was fine
