Rezension von marylhrIch habe alles daran geliebt. Richtig schön Slow Burn und ich freue mich schon auf Teil 2. Hab tatsächlich auch richtig Lust den 1. Teil nochmal zu lesen, weil es gefühlt einfach mein Roman Empire ist, seit dem ich es beendet habe.

Rezension von IrisIn Teilen ähnlich zu Alchemised, aber weniger düster, teils vorhersehbr aber doch spannend und wesentlich weniger young adult, als das verspielte Cover vermuten lässt. Leider teils etwas seltsame Übersetzungen. Der Epilog war super und ich bin gespannt, was in Teil 2 passiert!
Rezension von bookishcatsLoved it. I read the story when it was still a fanfiction and was curious to see how Julie Soto would rewrite the story and give it her own spin. I think she was quite successful. I enjoyed the worldbuilding and the unique magic system and the chemistry between Briony and Toven was just „chef‘s kiss“. I love a good slowburn.
