Rise Darrow.
Absolutely gripping book, couldn't stop reading till I was done, ending maybe a bit fast paced but overall would recommend absolutely
Was mir an Red Rising besonders gefallen hat, ist die Mischung aus Sci-Fi, Strategie und psychologischen Machtspielen. Darrow ist dabei kein typischer Held, sondern oft brutal, impulsiv und ziemlich einschüchternd — selbst die Tests zeigen schnell, wie gefährlich er eigentlich ist. Gleichzeitig fand ich es spannend, wie sein Herz trotz all der Veränderungen gleich bleibt und Eos Einfluss ihn weiterhin prägt voran treibt und dazu bringt seine Moral zu vernachlässigen. Die Academy mit den Häusern hatte fast etwas von einer verdrehten Version von Häusern aus Harry Potter oder Percy Jackson, nur mit deutlich mehr Gewalt und Manipulation. Figuren wie Mustang, Tactus oder der Jackal machen die Dynamik zusätzlich interessant. Vor allem gegen Ende überschlagen sich die Enthüllungen und ich bin schon extrem gespannt wie die Reihe weitergeht.
