Rezension von Joana🫧 Well… I have to admit, #Powerful wasn’t quite what I expected🥺 Let’s start with some positive thoughts : I was curious about Adena character - so getting a deeper look into her thoughts, feelings, and experiences was really nice😋 I also thought the relationship between her and Makoto was genuinely sweet🥹 Their connection brought some softer moments to the story and gave the novella a more personal, character-focused feel. That being said, I struggled to stay fully invested throughout most of the book😢 While I enjoyed both characters, the story itself wasn’t particularly captivating. Aside from the beginning - which immediately grabbed my attention and the ending, which left a strong impression - the middle section felt a little slow and lacked the tension and excitement that made Powerless so addictiv😬 Unfortunately, I found myself losing interest quite often and had a hard time staying engaged with this book.yy This novella just didn’t quite capture the same magic as the main series for me💔 . . . . . Rating : 1,5⭐️ Spice : 0🌶️ Recommendation : ❌

Rezension von simply_yAlthough I liked Mak & Adena, I couldn't quite connect with the pair. Their story fell off page most of the time, us readers getting barely a glimpse of any of it. That "earth shattering" moment of her death? It just didn't click for me. Yes, Adena's lovely & a ray of sunshine. But she's also highly dependant on others to stay alive, and that's what made the story dull for me.
