Rezension von ToniIch habe das Buch zum ersten Mal in den Händen gehalten, irgendeine Seite aufgeschlagen und das erste Wort, das ich las, war: Käsesandwich. Da wusste ich, dass ich dieses Buch lesen musste. Jane ist 18, Pizzalieferantin und schwanger. Als eines Tages eine Frau namens Jenny Hauser bei ihrer Arbeit anruft und eine Pizza mit Gürkchen bestellt, die es auf der Speisekarte nicht gibt, verändert sich Janes Leben komplett. Verwirrt von ihren eigenen Gefühlen, hofft sie jeden Mittwoch auf den Anruf und die Bestellung von Jenny. Seltsamerweise fühlt sie sich zu dieser Frau hingezogen und kann nur wenig ihre Impulse kontrollieren. Ich fand das Buch solide. Schön und witzig geschrieben und regt einen definitiv zum Nachdenken an! Der unerwartete Twist gen Ende lässt dich diesen Roman vorerst nicht vergessen. In manchen (einigen) Moment im Buch will man bloß den Kopf schütteln, in anderen lächelt man in sich hinein. Es ist auf jeden Fall wert einmal gelesen zu werden. Zum nächsten Lieblingsbuch aller Zeiten wird es wahrscheinlich nicht, aber zum gemütlichen Abschalten vom eigenen Alltagsstress ist es vollkommend ausreichend.
