Rezension von Rebekkah 🌙Dnfed at 73% Da ich die Bücher von K.M.Moronova liebe, musste ich dieses auch einfach lesen. Die Idee war gut und anders, als die Bücher, die sie sonst schreibt. Leider hat es mich aber nicht so gecatched, wie die anderen. Mich haben die spicy scenes in diesem Buch aufgrund des Wordings so oft gecringed, und ich hab es nicht mal auf Deutsch gelesen 💀 (da wär es sicher noch schlimmer) Da es mich nicht so gepackt hat, habe ich es ein paar Wochen liegen lassen und jetzt weiß ich mittlerweile gar nicht mehr worum es genau gegangen ist, weshalb ich es abgebrochen habe.
Rezension von BenteThis book was so fast paced I simply couldn’t put it down and finished it in less than two days. At first, I honestly thought the plot was only set around the moments the two protagonists get intimate with each other, but I quickly learned how guilt and repentance really were the force of this story. The characters are already broken - just as we know from other characters written by K.M Moronova - and how they deal with their feelings leads to a story about two knights fooled by the gods themselves. I could literally feel the inner turmoil the two struggle with and constantly try to hide from another by denying their longing for each other. This kept me glued to the pages and I did not for one second got annoyed by their back and forth. Some elements in the story caught me by surprise and I do not fully understand the world yet, so this book is not a highlight for me, but I really had a great time reading it and I didn’t see the ending coming. So I will DEFINITELY be reading the second part releasing in August!

Rezension von JillAn sich war das sicherlich kein schlechtes Buch, aber mich hat es leider nicht gekriegt. Ich bin aber auch die falsche Person, weil ich kein großer Fan von Bluttrinken in Verbindung mit 🌶️-Szenen bin. Ich habe leider gar keine Chemie zwischen den beiden gespürt und irgendwie war mir auch total egal was so abgeht. Die Story drumherum war eigentlich spannend und es hat mich trotzdem ganz ok entertained. Für Menschen, die auf so vampirartige Verhaltensweisen und Spice stehen, sicherlich kein schlechtes Buch. Mit nur 250 Seiten fliegt man auch einfach so durch! Ob ich Teil 2 lese weiß ich noch nicht, ich befürchte ich kann mich in 3 Wochen an nichts mehr aus dem Buch erinnern…
