This is another fantastic book in the series. Darrow and his friends were, once again, really well-made characters, but Adrius stood out to me. The way he became the arch-villain was just excellent, and the way he stops at nothing to get what he wants is just perfect for a villain. The story was also fantastic. It's truly awesome to witness Darrow's use of deception to win his battles. The ending felt just perfect, and I'm hopeful the next three books will be as good as the first three. I'm eager to find out how it progresses and observe the unfolding of the story.
