Their parents didn’t come home. They were happy to be alone and able to throw a party. Cora and Mark weren’t suspicious at all — their parents were often late or out for the night. But they didn’t come home the next day either. Where could they be? What had happened to them? Their cousin, who lived with them, started acting strange. Everything became creepy. They tried to find their parents, went to their workplace, but the CEO himself told them that there were no Burroughses working at the company. Had their parents lied to them? Gina, Mark’s girlfriend, also started acting weird. She broke up with him without any explanation and seemed terrified and unstable. What was happening? Where could their parents possibly be? I was thinking maybe they were in some kind of witness protection program. I wasn’t that far from the truth. Basically, their parents were undercover FBI agents trying to infiltrate a cult, but they had been caught, and now the cult leader wanted to kill them to strengthen his power. Gina’s father was also a member of the cult, but Gina loved Mark too much — so in the end, she helped them save their parents during a cult meeting.
