When I first started reading this book I never thought it would go this route. Nothing gave it away. However even though it was something I didn't expect I was a little disappointed on the turn it took. I read reviews about this before diving in so I didn't expect it to be as good as gone girl. Both big situations that happen in this book are issues that are major right now in the real world. That I did like. Also going back and forth with the flashbacks at times got me a little confused because I would get so engulfed in the current situation that when they did the flashback I had to readjust the scene in my mind I made from the book. Okay was it just me... But since there were 3 characters with the letter A at the beginning of the name... I started getting them all confused! It's probably just me.
