Rezension von feadzyDer Übeltäter ist also das Patriarchat. Insgesamt fand ich das Buch ziemlich gelungen. Mir gefiel die Struktur mit den zwei Erzählern, die durch die Podcast-Recherche miteinander verknüpft sind. Die Handlung und ihr Ausgang sind zwar nicht bahnbrechend, dürften aber noch auf Jahrzehnte hinaus relevant bleiben.
Rezension von Marea MThe ending really stayed with me. There’s no big dramatic justice scene, and I actually liked that. Lucy doesn’t get vindication from everyone, but she gets something more important: clarity. Realizing that Savvy was toxic and that the worst thing everyone believed about her wasn’t true felt quietly powerful. It made the whole story less about solving a crime and more about reclaiming your own narrative after years of being defined by a lie. The ending felt unsettling, sad, and oddly freeing all at once, which fits the book perfectly.
Rezension von DiosymarIt was pretty interesting throughout the whole book and like some parts were even funny. But towards the end it got kind of predictable and I just feel like It had the potential to end on a better twist, but the ending was kind of mid.
