Rezension von JoannaLark and Lachlan!!! 😍 I love it!!! Die Geschichte von den beiden Protagonisten gibt das Gefühl in einem Film einzusinken während man das Buch liest. Ich konnte das Buch einfach nicht aus der Hand legen. Und das extra Chapter! 🫣 I’m speechless! 😶 Jedenfalls bleibt die Geschichte nicht verloren und versinkt in dem Regal das sich in meinen Herz befindet unter ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 XOXO ~ J💋

Rezension von LeaLachlan und Lark starten ihre Bekanntschaft nicht sonderlich gut und doch fühlen sie sich zueinander hingezogen. Dann müssen die beiden heiraten, um Lachlan's Bruder zu schützen, während sie versuchen raus zubekommen, wer nach und nach Larks entfernte Familie tötet. Ich bin ja ein riesiger Fan von Fake Beziehungen in Büchern und es wurde so gut umgesetzt. Es war kein "Ich will dem anderen nicht von meinen Gefühlen erzählen, weil er sie eh nicht erwidert"-Mist. Das war mal sehr erfrischend. Larks ist einfach so lustig. Und der Spice war auch gut. Man sollte aber definitiv die Triggerwarnungen lesen, weil es passieren einige brutale Sachen und auch ein paar eklige. Ist aber nicht so blutig und grotesk wie der erste Band.
Rezension von Ivy FernSo, I finally finished this book. I don’t exactly know why it has taken me so long to actually finish it. The baseline is: I think Butcher & Blackbird set a standard and this book didn’t exactly meet it. I really liked B&B so this might have influenced my feelings towards this book but it just felt so much slower? And it has some parts where the slowness is good, but there are others where it feels like backtracking. I really liked the scene where he found out about her being a “multiple exterminator”, the nicknames are iconic; and the ending was perfect and some other scenes are genuinely good and interesting. Everything in between just felt mid and didn’t meet my expectations.
Rezension von Emma Okay, so the first 150 pages were honestly pretty slow for me, and it only got really interesting once the two of them started interacting more and opening up to each other. But once that happened, I couldn’t put the book down. The writing was great, it was exciting, and I genuinely enjoyed it.
