Rezension von LeaAlso man sollte auf keinen Fall irgendwas von der Story vorwegnehmen, außer vielleicht was im Klappentext steht. Das Pacing ist genial, besonders dadurch, dass man zwischen der Gegenwart und Vera's Kindheit hin und her wechselt. Die Plot Twist habe ich nicht kommen sehen. Ich saß da mit offenem Mund und konnte gar nicht fassen, was ich da lese. Das Ende war sowohl empowering als auch irgendwie eklig. Das habe ich auch nicht kommen sehen. Der letzte Plot Twist ist wirklich so eine 180-Grad-Wende. Der Schreibstil war super flüssig und gut zu lesen. Das Buch lässt einen konstant zweifeln, was real ist und was Einbildung. Richtig gute Mischung aus fantastischen Horror und Psychothriller.
