This is single-handedly the worst thing coming out of bookstagram/booktok. My faith in people’s opinions regarding a good fantasy book is nonexistent. Too many people like these horribly written books and I surely can not comprehend how this embarrassment has gotten so big and beloved by so many. DNF for now. I just can not bring myself to read anymore than I’ve already did …
I see Why people don’t like This Book as much but it Dosen’t deserve the hate And now…. I NEED THERAPY I was thinking how we all are sleeping on sawyer and then in the final battle I had a small heartattack Sometimes some of theses secnes and lines staret giving me the kissing booth and I was scared for my life Also why are they making out in front of everyone all the time STOPPPP IT LOVE RIDOC ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS IF HE DIES I WILL THROW A FUNERAL
The yearning of xaden in the first part?! Love it. The second part was chefs kiss. The ending however broke me
Even though I liked the first book better, this was a nice continuation of it. Violet is a great character and it's nice to see how she's growing, but I feel like she can grow a lot more and there are definitely some things I am waiting for (even if I don't know what's gonna happen). Also considering that plot lines could be guessed beforehand and I was wishing for some other things to happen. I felt the story was sometimes a little slow and not as "moving" as the first book, also the book felt kind of like two stories wrapped in one even though it made sense to take it that way. Safe to say the Ending left me quite frustrated and I'm interested how the final book will go down and what's gonna happen in the longest one of the trilogy, because I'm not sure what you could be writing short of 800 pages about still. Update: Just found out that the third book isn't the final one, so I guess we'll see how that goes. Now I'm even more confused what's supposed to happen still haha.
