Rezension von Daniela4/5⭐️ 'Hello Beautiful' ist eine Hommage an Little Women von Louisa May Alcott. Ann Napolitano ist es gelungen, mit ihrem Werk Empathie zu generieren und zum Nachdenken anzuregen. Die Figuren, die Emotionen und die Beziehungen der Schwestern werden auf eine sehr tiefgründige, poetische und komplexe Art dargestellt. Die Lesenden fühlen mit jeder Figure mit. In einigen Szenen/ Romanfragmenten hätte sich zwar meiner Meinung nach die Handlung schneller entwickeln können, aber insgesamt war es ein sehr angenehmes und schönes Leseerlebnis.
Rezension von Laura SpitzHat mir super gefallen, eine Hommage an Little Women, das mir ebenfalls gut gefallen hat. Ich habe selbst zwei Schwestern und konnte mich so besonders gut in die Erzählerinnen reinversetzen. Auch die Perspektive von William hat mir sehr gut gefallen.
Rezension von Jackie StrengerShort version: I couldn’t really get into the flow. Might have been my own attention span currently as well as my exhaustion in the evenings. But I just didn’t get the deep connection with the characters as described in so many of the reviews. It stayed shallow for me and I must say, it was tough for me to keep reading in order to finish the book. Because I think it was due to me, myself and I, it‘s 4 stars where I would’ve normally said it’s only 3 :)
