Rezension von Julia SophieEndlich wieder zurück im „The Inheritance Games“ Universum und dann auch noch mit Geschichten aus Sicht der Hawthornes und Avery. Es war ein wenig wie nach Hause kommen - dieses Universum bedeutet mir so unendlich viel. Die Sammlung an Kurzgeschichten war definitiv besonders und unterhaltsam. Dadurch bekommt man einen neuen Blickwinkel auf verschiedenste Ereignisse und sieht das Geschehen nicht nur durch Averys Augen. Für mich persönlich ist dieses Buch DEUTLICH besser, als „The grandest game“, vielleicht weil mir die Charaktere bereits vertraut sind (aber mal ehrlich: die vier Brüder sind auch einfach einzigartig). Ich bin sonst ein Fan von kurzen Kapiteln, hier waren die aber teilweise so kurz, dass ich nicht wirklich in einen beständigen Lesefluss gekommen bin. Die zweite Kurzgeschichte war mir persönlich mit 200 Seiten zu lang (und nicht wichtig genug) und die anderen im Vergleich zu kurz. Da hätte ich lieber ein paar extra Seiten bei den folgenden Kurzgeschichten gehabt. Meine liebsten Kurzgeschichten waren definitiv „Eine Hawthorn’sche Nacht“ und „VV!CHT3LN“. Dort gab es den vertrauten familiären Vibe und ganz viel Content zu den Brüdern. JLB hat wieder geliefert und dieses Buch ist absolut eine Empfehlung!

Really disappointed in this one Five Times Xander Tackled Someone: OMG THIS WAS SOO CUTE….GO!! 4.5⭐️ One Hawthorne Night: I really liked it, I love seeing the Hawthorne Brothers' dynamic. Very fun. 4⭐️ What happens in the tree house: It was cutesy and funny but nothing special 3⭐️ Finished the night in Prague (Jameson and Avery): 1 enjoyed it, it was very Javery with classic Hawthorne Games but nothing really special or new in my opinion 3.75⭐️ Pain at the right gun: very interesting ending, was first contused why she left us with such an open ending but after skimming the acknowledgements this cliffhanger/ mystery is going to be answered/solved in the Grandest Game series (I hope she really does because if not l am mad
