Rezension von Book Lite GalAt first RED was super annoying 😒 but as u get deeper into the book it's not that noticeable anymore just here and there. But for being an YA thriller it was ok. This is my second read from this author hopefully my next read from hers is gonna be better.

Rezension von MarieHolly Jackson hat ihren Platz als auto-buy Autorin mal wieder verteidigt. Der Schreibstil passt hervorragend zu Red als unzuverlässiger Erzählerin, sorgt jedoch auch für einige Längen, vor allem in der ersten Hälfte des Buchs. Sicher kommt das auch daher, dass die ganze Handlung nur wenige Stunden umfasst, trotzdem hätte ich mir stellenweise mehr Schnelligkeit in der Handlung gewünscht. Als dann aber alles ins Rollen kam, gab es doch wieder einige Plottwists, mit denen ich so nicht gerechnet hatte (obwohl ich wirklich ungefähr jede Möglichkeit in meinem Kopf durchgegangen bin). Die letzten 50 Seiten haben dann auch nochmal alles rausgeholt. Mittlerweile hätte ich ja damit rechnen können, dass das Ende eines Holly Jackson-Romans mich emotional nochmal in die Knie kriegt, aber da war ich wohl doch zu naiv! Wie auch bei ihren andern Büchern wird auch hier das Ende noch einige Tage in meinem Kopf (und ein bisschen auch im Herzen) bleiben.
