Wow. I went into this book thinking it would be a bad dark romance novel. But no. It was a fascinating, gripping and gut wrenching story. I loved this book so much, the author wrote the main character backstory/secret so well that I felt disgusted and enthralled at the same time. This book made the guilty pleasure stand out, made me feel how wrong it was, but also pulled in at how alluring it would be. A perfect mix of gothic, sci-fi, obsessive and gore. I can’t wait to read more like this!! The only flaw in my eyes was how quickly the book was over.
