Rezension von Zo zBook club book! This book was fascinating. John Green’s style was informative while also being able to tell the story of Henry. He paints a great image of the complexity of all the systems that impact healthcare, and how unjust that system is.

Rezension von SchniekerikeEin Buch, das die Aufmerksamkeit auf die überaus relevanten Themen Tbc und die soziale Ungerechtigkeit der medizinischen Versorgung weltweit lenkt - leicht zugänglich, teils repetitiv geschrieben. Insbesondere die Isolierung und Beschränkung der Erkrankten in den Sanatorien haben mich nachhaltig berührt; die Romantisierung und der Einfluss auf die Mode von Tbc waren mir neu. Das Hörbuch, welches von John Green selbst gelesen wird, kann ich empfehlen. Insgesamt interessant, jedoch nicht außergewöhnlich.
