i kind of liked this book, although it took time to get into the story.
3.75 stars. While I could relate to our protagonist I still couldn't understand why she would sleep with someone while being in a relationship. People have different coping mechanisms and those can tend to be destructive, I get that. That still doesn't excuse her behavior. Her eating disorder felt too close to home. That was a great portrayal. I also felt bad for her because she didn't have any real friends. No support system.
Loved the writing style, bittersweet, sad, funny and wholesome at the same time. A bit slow and frustrating at times but that's what makes it so realistic
