But as Maris confronts the knowledge that her seemingly perfect husband is having an affair, she finds herself falling under Parker's brooding spell. But like most first novels, there is more than a little of Parker's own story in Envy. And his plans extend far beyond literary success...

Rezension von Kaho72Ich mag die Bücher der Autorin und habe sie früher verschlungen. Dieses Buch kannte ich allerdings noch nicht. Es war gewohnt flüssig geschrieben und bot mir einen Mix aus Krimi, genialen Verstrickungen,die aber etwas vorhersehbar waren und Erotik. Wer mit letzterem Probleme hat,sollte das Buch besser nicht lesen, alle anderen werden ihre Freude haben,auch wenn es nicht perfekt ist und vielleicht für einen Krimi eine Spur zu erotisch war. Mir gefielen die Zusammenhänge gut und ich konnte mich in die Denkweisen gut reinversetzen,auch wenn man schon recht früh das Ende erahnte. Trotzdem ist es ein gelungenes Buch, mit authentischen Protas, welches ich empfehlen kann. Geeiget für Krimi und Erotikfans gleichermaßen
