Rezension von 𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫Ich habe es dieses Jahr zum zweiten Mal gelesen, weil es mir so gut gefallen hat. Durch den guten Schreibstil hat das Buch genau die Stimmung vermittelt, die es inhaltlich auch beschreibt. Diese düstere, geheime und verbotene Geschichte macht das Buch zu etwas Einzigartigem. Ich muss schon zugeben, dass mich das Buch emotional mitgenommen hat – selbst beim zweiten Mal Lesen. Abgesehen von allem hatte das Buch eine sehr spannende Storyline, die einen dazu motiviert, weiterzulesen. Besonders beeindruckend fand ich die Dynamik zwischen den beiden. Kade, der als älterer Bruder die Aufgabe hat, seinen Bruder zu beschützen, diese jedoch weit über eine normale Fürsorge hinausgeht. Nick, der auf eine Art von seinem Bruder abhängig ist – sowohl körperlich als auch psychisch. Mir stellte sich jedoch die Frage, was die beiden dazu gebracht hat, solch stigmatisierte Gefühle füreinander zu entwickeln. Liegt es an den gemeinsamen Traumata, wie dem Missbrauch durch den Vater? Obwohl es von der Gesellschaft als absolut falsch angesehen wird, solch eine Art von Beziehung zu führen, denke ich, dass man sich eben nicht aussuchen kann, in wen man sich verliebt – und dass es ein richtiges Konzept von Liebe gar nicht gibt.
