Rezension von Raphaela Laura ist alleine unterwegs im Wald und sie hat eine Mission. Als sie 13 Jahre alt war, stieg ihre Jugendliebe Bobby in ein fremdes Auto und verschwand für immer. Doch was niemand weiß, ist, dass der Entführer Laura über die Jahre regelmäßig anonyme Briefe geschcikt hat. Hoffnung auf Bobbys Rettung hat er ihr nie gemacht, doch für kleine Gefälligkeiten versprach er ihr Hinweise, die sie zu Bobbys Leiche führen sollen. Nun nach all den Jahren ist sie auf dem Weg, um endlich eine Antwort zu bekommen. Die kleine Horrornovelle hat eine interessante und bedrückende Prämisse und der Start ist durchaus spannend und die Interaktionen zwischen dem Kidnapper und Laura mehr als beklemmend. Allerdings nimmt sich die Geschichte zu wenig Zeit für die Entwicklung der Figur. Durch die kurze Form nimmt die Handlung immer wieder sprunghafte Entwicklungen, wodurch viel verloren geht und für das allgemeine Gefühl wäre es sicher besser gewesen, die Geschichte zwei, drei Kapitel früher enden zu lassen. Hätte großes Potential gehabt, bleibt aber leider in der Ausführung nur Mittelmaß.
