I really wanted to like it more than I did since the idea behind the book is so interesting and original. Even the (limited) world building seemed promising. But I feel like the author didn’t make use of that the way they could’ve, so sometimes it felt very „wannabe-deep“ and remained quite superficial. The writing was also a bit clunky but I’m unsure whether that might’ve been due to the translation.

A really fun read with great whimsical world building that approaches the experience of dreaming in a creative and original way.
