Savannah Reid is playing reluctant host to her assistant's cousin Abigail, in town for an unwanted free makeover, complete with plastic surgery at the illustrious luxury spa Emerge. Coincidentally, Savannah's detective friend Dirk brings her in on his latest case, the abduction of plastic surgeon Suzette Du Bois, co-owner of Emerge. Savannah is on the case and what she discovers may reveal the ugly world of the beauty business.
