Conclave is (so far) my reading highlight of the year! A fantastic book! The Guardian described it in one word: "unputdownable." YES! I completely agree. The beginning of the book was a great start into the story. Everything was so interesting; this was a completely new world that we, the readers, were able to learn about. What happens behind closed doors? Halfway through the book, I got the feeling that something very formative was about to happen at any moment. And with that I started to feel excited. As the story progressed, the tension built. And with each vote, the tension increased. Who will be Pope? I had an idea who it might be. I had two favourites, and one of them won. But HALLELUJAH!! What an ending... 😱😲 I hadn't expected that. No no no no no.. I did not see that coming. Such a fantastic book!!! After reading it, I also watched the film. In my opinion, not much was changed. The film was excellent. 👌🏼🤌🏻 I'm still blown away 😄. I'll be thinking about the book for quite a while.

Wer Illuminati von Dan Brown mochte, wird dieses Buch lieben. Spannend bis zur letzten Seite und eine Wendung am Ende mit der ich nicht gerechnet habe.
