This is a perfect continuation of the first book and reads just as easy and quickly but already there’s a hint of what Matt Dinniman hides behind all the blood and the explosions and the humor. Someone called this social commentary on the level of The Hunger Games but dressed up as a fart joke and I find that to be extremely accurate. I’ve realized that the writing style goes well with what the story tries to accomplish so even though it is not my favorite I can overlook it, more so now that I’m deeper in the story than in the first book of the series. Can and will highly recommend.
