Rezension von GnocchiUnterwältigend. Geht interessant los, baut bis zur Hälfte des Buches quasi keine Spannung auf, und die einzige Spannung, die sich aufbaut, fällt ganz schnell wieder ab. Viele Ausschmückungen, einige umständlich beschriebene Passagen, und fragwürdige Charaktere mit komischen Gedankengängen. Insgesamt jedoch mit einer wichtigen Message: Man sollte sich so akzeptieren, wie man ist. Letztendlich ist mir der stretch allerdings von „Sie hasst Frauen“ über „Sie fühlt sich allein und sucht Freundinnen“ hin zu „Hat sie die Männer deshalb umgebracht?“ viel zu seltsam. Man weiß nicht mal, ob und wie die Morde entstanden sind, einfach nur ein enttäuschender Roman, viel zu lang, langweilig und mit einem sehr bizarren, langen gespannten Bogen bis zur Kernaussage, dass man seinen Körper akzeptieren sollte & (wie in Japan unüblich) etwas mehr relaxen sollte. So versteh ich es zumindest. Naja, irgendwas zwischen 2 und 2,5 Sternen, seinen Hype Null wert.
