I couldn't put this down. The pacing is relentless, and the ending left my jaw on the floor. It kept me guessing until the final sentence.

This book was twisty, fast-paced, and completely engaging. I really liked the characters, none of them felt annoying or needy. Instead, they were strong, capable people, each with their own motives and agendas driving the story. The ending genuinely surprised me; the killer was not who I expected at all, and the reveal about the truck driver not being Silas completely shocked me. I also appreciated that even the smaller characters mattered and were fully fleshed out, we actually knew who they were and why they mattered. I spent the entire book questioning everyone, because every time I thought I had it figured out, something would shift. The only thing to keep in mind is that the timeline jumps around quite a bit, with multiple perspectives, so paying attention to dates is important. Overall, this was a great read.
