This story felt slow. I feel there was a lot of filler details and not enough drama compared to her other books. One of the main events seemed to have happened as soon as the book started and the other major event didn't happen until 3/4 of the way through the book. The relationship between these two characters seemed stagnant and not super exciting. I do love the symbolism that is carried throughout the book. Some of the finer details were wholesome though. For example, how Graham kept the fortune cookies and how he kept adding letters to his and Quin's box. Overall, I don't think I would recommend this specific Colleen Hoover book to anyone.

I listened to this book as an Audiobook, on Audible. It take only around 7-8 hours. And first I didn't like it at all. The first chapter is sooo filled with cliche, it seemed to be a very boring love story like a Sophie Love one, which doesn't have depth, and everything is on the surface, with boring and typical characters. I could't be any more wrong. It is everything but not like a typical romance story. It was funny, interesting, loving, devastating, sad, and exciting at the same time. I just couldn't put it aside. I loved the two main characters so much, they are so nice fit together. They have depths, the author really shows that they are loveable, and they are for each other. They have their flaws, but in the end they always find their way back to each other. It is about a very hard topic of infertility, and it was really heartbreaking to listen to it, because it is something I am also very afraid of. But on the other hand, it also established the feeling inside of me, that it can be ok, if you have a partner, who truly loves you, for you, and not for having a family and children. I truly want to believe, that my fiance will be so sympathetic and loving with me as Graham was with Quinn. It will be the hardest thing if I have to accept, that I can not have children, and I am sure that I am going to have the same thoughts as Quinn, that my partner can find another woman and have children with her, but I hope it is not going to be the case, and my partner will also chose me, instead of children. I am very happy that I read this book! It gave me a lot. My favourite quotes: “What's the secret to a perfect marriage?' The old man leaned forward and looked at me very seriously. A story full of love, happiness, struggles, hurt, and emotion reminds us that communication is necessary.

I am giving 5 stars not because the story is so incredible and capturing. But because the topic of the book is something I believe many couples struggle with and because it’s so real and moving how Quinn and Gram are handling it. It’s hard to go through down times in a relationship/ marriage but struggling like this is a whole different thing and it’s a beautiful way the two protagonists are overcoming it.
