Rezension von Laura D⭐️️⭐️☆☆☆ Ich habe A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder leider nach etwa 150 Seiten abgebrochen. Die Story an sich fand ich wirklich interessant und ich glaube auch, dass sich die Handlung noch richtig cool entfaltet. Deshalb kann ich gut verstehen, warum viele das Buch lieben. Mit dem Schreibstil bin ich aber überhaupt nicht warm geworden. Ich habe das Buch auf Englisch gelesen und obwohl ich normalerweise kein Problem mit englischen Büchern habe (ich habe zum Beispiel erst kürzlich The Silent Patient auf Englisch gelesen) war dieses hier für mich unglaublich schwerfällig. Ständig wurden für mein Empfinden unnötige Details eingestreut, der Lesefluss war zäh und viele Formulierungen haben mir einfach keinen Spaß gemacht. Irgendwann dachte ich mir: Meine Lebenszeit ist zu kostbar, um mich durch einen Schreibstil zu quälen, der mich nicht abholt. Die Story gebe ich noch nicht auf, stattdessen schaue ich jetzt die sechsteilige Serie. Vielleicht überzeugt mich die Handlung dort mehr als die Art, wie sie geschrieben wurde.
Rezension von PiaHolly Jackson schafft es immer wieder einen eher simplen Krimi originell und mit viel eigener Persönlichkeit zu erzählen. Beim Lesen bekommt man immer ein wenig Miss Marple meets Popkultur Vibes, was diesem Genre sehr gut steht. Einzig das Ende hatte eine Spur viel Pathos zu bieten, dies kann man anhand der tollen Unterhaltung die diesen Buch bietet, jedoch verschmerzen.

Rezension von AvivIch bin wirklich sehr begeistert von diesem Buch! 💗 Es war super spannend und ich hatte viel Spaß beim lesen! Außerdem mochte ich Pippa sehr gerne und auch ihre Familie. Ich fand den Schreibstil und die Bildet auch sehr toll. Man musste mit dem Buch viel mitdenken, aber das Ende war logisch. ✨❤️ Ich freu mich schon auf den zweiten Teil! Das Ende hatte dann nochmal einen großen Plottwist der das Buch aber nochmal spannender gemacht hat. Es hat auch mehrere wichtige Themen angesprochen, was ich toll fand.
