Rezension von AntoniaDiese Buch hat mich aufgrund der Tatsache neugierig gemacht, da die Thematik rund um das Leben eines Pflegekindes, welches in seiner Vergangenheit von Familie zu Familie "gereicht" wurde, verschriftlicht wurde. An Anfang habe ich mich sehr mit Allison identifizieren können. Ich habe mich in jeder ihrer Charakterzüge und Handlungen (man kann sagen: leider) wiedergefunden. Irgendwann bin ich mit dem Buch aber dann leider gar nicht warmgeworden. Es lag 2 Monate auf meinem SUB und ich hatte keinerlei Bedürfnis, es nochmal aufzuschlagen. Vor ein paar Tagen dachte ich mir dann "ok, ich versuche es nochmal.", weil ich es einfach hinter mich bringen wollte. Ich habe es also wieder angefangen. Mir hat dennoch der Schreibstil überhaupt nicht gefallen. Ich war leider nicht Feuer und Flamme für die Story von Allison und Esben, da mir das alles viel zu schnell ging zwischen den beiden. Es wirkte auf mich oftmals einfach "unrealistisch" oder vielleicht habe einfach ich in dieser Hinsicht andere Vorstellungen. Nichtsdestotrotz will und kann ich nicht leugnen, dass die Autorin wundervolle Charaktere geschaffen hat, die man gleich ins Herz geschlossen hat. Vor allem Esben ist für mich nun ein neuer Bookboyfriend!!! Meine Meinung zu diesem Buch wurde aber nochmal ordentlich geändert, nämlich als es zum ersten Plottwist kam. Dieser kam jedoch recht spät, weshalb sich das Buch für mich ein wenig zu sehr in die Länge gezogen hat. Auf diesen Wendepunkt folgte dann recht schnell noch ein zweiter und am Ende fühlte es sich für mich nur noch so an, als wollte man noch alles an Inhalt auf 20 Seiten quetschen. Es wurde mir dann leider zu hektisch. Das Ende war schön. Man hätte dieses aber schöner ausschmücken können. Alles in allem fand ich das Buch zum Ende hin gut. Mich hat die Story dann doch noch irgendwann gepackt. :)
